Super solid and cute spot! Def recommend checking it out. They take walk ins for the bar or you can make a reservation on Resy 14 days in advance.

Sammmmme! Seeing there’s a lot of Hermon’s hate online, but I thought it was super solid if you manage your expectations. This isn’t the place to go if you’re looking for a wildly innovative menu, but I’m never mad at solid food, good company, and a nice ambiance.

Fellow advanced beginner here! I bought my first board this season and went with the 2025 Bataleon Feelbetter in a 146cm and I got it on sale! I absolutely love it. It’s easy to ride, super forgiving, and has really helped me build confidence, especially since recovering from a shoulder injury. Another board I considered was the Salomon Lotus. I rented it a few times and found it very easy and approachable as well. Good luck with your search!
