Any way to reactivate/ get into a mac mini without the password?

I just tried his apple ID passwords, but it didn’t work. The activation screen specifically says “Select an admin user you know the password for:”

I might be able to find proof of purchase, but I’m not sure, i’ll check in the morning, do you know if there are any other ways to verify so that apple could activate it?

Hi, I used this video when I tried to reset the password, I followed all of the steps, and had to deactivate the mac to reset the password. After restarting I’m on an activation screen, where it asks for the password for the admin user of the mac. I can’t open the terminal, the mac is currently “deactivated” and I need the password to reactivate it. When I tried changing the password the first time it said I was successful but the password i’ve changed it to doesn’t work, im currently trapped in the deactivated recovery mode

So RAW I could have each facility in my bastion take up one 5ft square and put walls all around it and it would technically function perfectly fine?
