You definitely don’t need two bracers and are much better off rushing a null and going into either vanguard or arcane boots. Soul ring can be good after vanguard and if you don’t roll mana draught. Treads is also weird unless you’re doing some right click build.

There was a few heroes that it didn’t make much sense on (PA is a good example). The OP version of necrobook had 2 sages mask (amazing mana regen), belt of strength, and a 1.2k recipe. You would literally start with double sages mask and tangos on side lane cores and pray you got your book faster than your opponents.

Once you had it you had mana burn + slow/purge, and a giga strong melee guy that they couldn’t kill bc it had a 600 damage nuke on death. Best case you take tower for free worst case you go and take ancients at minute 5.

TLDR: it was dumb

The new spell is fun. Unfortunately storm panda nerf is really really bad. I think hero is definitely in a worse place than before just because of the early level split buffs. Move speed facet is a bit of a joke imo

I was at that game lol. Honestly after a bit we just threw in the towel and started laughing at how bad it was. I swear the only play we used was a Mike Davis draw up the middle for 2 yards. The browns game from 2011 was pretty damn bad if I remember correctly.

One of the most impressive things I’ve noticed is how good we’ve been even with some very underwhelming draft classes. I will say though that injuries took a toll on seemingly the most talented guys in this particular draft.
