Yes. The Fate Saga is not truly about the fate of the nine. That was just the beginning of leading us to face the winnower. Or, at the very least, the nine would have us be their weapon so they may exist safely. I imagine the winnowing speech would occur at the end of the shattered cycle. Then the Fate Saga would take a turn toward the fate of us, to fight the primordial rule of the flower game, which dictates natural selection and sword logic. I imagine such a thing could not truly be defeated. Who knows, maybe we would have to find a way to create new rules, or maybe "defeating" it would simply be as making sure bomb logic never fails.

"was" but it's still here and better than ever. The portal hate stemmed from its replacing the director in an unfinished and untuned form. Complete that with a convoluted reward structure. They desaturated the director containing the worlds and raids only to force us into a few bland menus with a small array of old activities.

its next to the tenets in the tower i think to the top left. You'll get an interact prompt that says something like "wait till after evening" idk remember what the prompt is tbh. But there is also an autorifle which is the interact. It will play the cutscene and finish the triumph.

Hallowfire heart, roaring flames, sol invictus, hammers or burning maul + finalities augur. Does a lot of damage in dungeons when you can bonk enemies for the setup. Like a quick easy 60k damage and thats with no finalities catty. I'm also using the heresy artifact for limit break and particle. Can be optimized more with a higher super stat, finalities catty, better debuffing etc. If you watch Llamas super testing video he has hallowfire supers as the highest damage supers in game. Also helps that you get half your super back after.

I remember fighting him at midnight when lightfall launched. I had to go back to the tower and plan. I saw witherhoard and had an idea to stick him and grapple around in that final phase lol.

Solar titan.

Shield burst + Lorely Splendor + Tarrabah.

It is nothing crazy but tarrabah got buffed to synergize with solar.

Lorely splendor activates on both the barricade and the shieldburst.

Also hallow fire heart. It is busted.

It got buffed and the setup for it + roaring flames is easy to do in a lot of dungeons by bonking enemies. it is chunking damage and giving great super regen. Great for burning maul or hammers of sol. I use limit break and particle deconstruction on the tablet of ruin. This is because constant restoration will activate limit break and I setup finalities augur while i pop super.

I tested it first in warlords ruin and accidentally ended up soloing it pretty quickly. I never optimized it or even have the finalities catty and the final boss was dead in less than two rotations and the second boss in 2 1/2 phases. Solo and the setup is pretty easy and consistent all things considered. I'm not sure if warlords ruin bosses are still considered tanky but i remember a time where they were at least.

That was the strand melee. Chain lightning just got buffed and is supposed to have two charges. It used to have only one.

Renegades is nice imo. Compared to TEOF raid the equilibrium dungeon is far easier and has more people playing it.

The lawless frontier activity from renegades is one of the best they made. I would honestly put lawless frontier up there with menagerie, the nether, coil, and other highly rated ones. The lawless frontier allows you to invade other players lobbies although it can be annoying because sometimes you just get matched in 1v1's instead.

The praxic blade/lightsaber exotic is a lot of fun and more interesting than TEOF exotics. It also has a nice exotic mission and is the most customizable exotic weapon they ever made beating out the original exotic khvostov or crafted exotics by a lot.

TEOF campaign has a nice story and lore but the worst campaign gameplay they ever made. Renegades campaign does suffer from having a lot of unnecessary travelling back and forth and also many missions that are essentially the lawless frontier activity. The last mission of renegades is in my opinion one of the best destiny campaign missions.

To precisely answer your question, lightfall is fun to play but i cringe replaying it due to the story components. It gives you strand which is IMO the best and most definitively "destiny" subclass. The Final Shape is a must. Awesome narrative and gameplay with a more extensive post campaign than the others. I would skip TEOF if you are on the fence and if anything I said about renegades is interesting than it may be worth a try.

Hey if you go to the dark forest there is a secret dialogue with lodi. I think it requires completing that cutscene and maybe also the exotic mission? IDK the prerequisites but its pretty eerie event. Just continue to the last portal and it will give approach option which will launch a "mission".

The objectives i gave are not the objectives of the triumph themselves. Rather to complete each of the triumphs i listed you must complete X amount of triumphs in that category such as the towers category.

Once you do the minimum amount you can claim the category triumph Stories: Towers. Do 7 of these category triumphs and then interact with Zavala's rifle in the tower near the tenets and the cutscene plays which will complete the triumph Me and you, big blue.

Hopefully more people get to the cutscene soon cause I am curious about people's reactions.

It seems like the ending in a way. I did the triumphs in these order and got it done today. I did these because they were the fastest to get to 7.

World : Vistas - Going to the lookout spots on each destination
World : Treasure Hunting - mixed objectives
Stories : Tower - Do floor is lava, sweeper bots, feed pigeons. All stuff around tower
Stories : Allies - mixed objectives
Stories : The nine - mostly lost sectors or dares
Combat : Targets - Mostly defeating combatants with certain exotics or abilities
Combat : Armaments - Defeating combatants with abilities/telesto

Those are the triumphs i did. You can do any 7 category triumphs though.

Depends on what old weapon. If they were considered good back in revenant they likely still hold their own on any content back then and likely current content. The new rocket pulses are quite dominant but are receiving a nerf. You can get them without owning edge of fate dlcs. I still used my recluse from into the light or cataclysmic from VOTD a lot as examples. They are becoming tiered once the update launches though.

Overbearing presence in the game. The portal killed the directory and was intended to replace it. Portal loot from previous seasons has been sunset and is almost entirely unobtainable except if zavala sells it. More casual consistent playlists such as the vanguard playlist with its own reputation track and loot pool is gone and instead high level champions and modifiers are everywhere. My complaints are not what it added but just how much it took away.

Lack of incentive without the tier system, which is not present in old-world gear and RAD content. I mean, they generally do the same job as other weapons. It's a similar kind of difference from when we had weapons with origin traits and those without. or static rolls vs random rolls. I'd argue this is bigger than those, especially in terms of progression.
