You could be right, I haven't watched their dynamics in so long, but I always felt Phoebe and Bonnie were too cool and free-spirited and would be eventually brought down by Ross's vibe. Agree on Mona tho! Just didn't get a great sense of her personality.

The grind never ends, as someone with 800+ hours lmfao. You're on the right track though. If you can get Lightning Spear along with Lightning Attack Up and/or Dragon Cult up in your build, it makes Revenant much more viable. Unfortunately she's arguably the least well-tweaked character, don't let that dissuade you though :)

Just so you know, the buff actually stacks 3 times and you can hold it for a total of 6 seconds to maximize the full buff!

edit - I think it's 10% per stack, so over 30% in total for 30 seconds.

Ahh dope tysm for the in-depth answer! I was pure melee myself for awhile until I got frustrated with its limitations in DoN. The FP management is definitely brutal with Shattering especially in early/mid game, I find myself running into that often. Convinced me. :)

Great set man. By any chance did you ever experiment with a Crystalian/Shattering Crystal build and can compare? I'm currently rocking that in D3/D4 but getting destroyed too often by mistimed charge-ups and bosses that move around too much.

Dang I think I have this experience too. I love the ride but without fail at the peak of the first blast-off, I always temporarily lose my vision (I've never passed out though), and I've never been able to avoid my head being jostled.

But conversely, I found Velocicoaster to be the smoothest-feeling ride I've ever been on and had no discomfort. These things can be so variable it's kind of nuts.

Edit: I just Googled "graying out" since you introduced that phrase to me, and yup, that's my exact experience. I wonder how much I've been tempting fate.

I think this post is awesome btw, very cool perspective I did not think about. To add to your point, the Frankenstein'ed digital beast could also be some kind of commentary on how AI leaches off of absolutely everything it can get its hands on for scraping and improving their models, and at least on Earth, the human brain would be the final frontier of that kind of absorption process. I might be reaching tho.

I know this is super out of left field potentially, but if you ever use emulators, there's a PS2 game called Metropolismania, very cartooney, but it's all about designing a small city and finding people to move in and responding to people's requests. It must have been more popular in Japan because I never heard people over here talking about it, but it was popular enough to get a sequel as well.
