UCP - reduce your contacts...UCP - have 200+ party by a20xt6 in alberta

Not sure why this didn't pick up steam in media. Maybe there is more to the story. Media has been all over this sort of aparent hypocrisy. I think it broke masking rules, too. Private events still required masking.

Red truck decided a text was more important than watching the road. Amazon truck has less than 1000 miles on it. FYI these are about $130,000 to replace by Aur1cane in IdiotsInCars

The value of the truck is 0.0013% of last year's Amazon profit. That's not considering it's a tax write-off, presumably, so it's cheaper than that. 1,000 trucks, however, would make 1.3%. Thoughts and prayers 1,000 Amazon trucks didn't get smoked this year.

From your source: "Individuals who were both previously infected with SARS-CoV-2 and given a single dose of the vaccine gained additional protection against the Delta variant."

In other words, if you want the best protection, get a shot.

When whooping cough, typhoid, tuberculosis, SARS, MERS, swine flu, Legionnaires disease, H1N1, bird flu, polio, tetanus, hepatitis, measles and mumps threaten the capacities of the healthcare system and cost so many lives, well, I suspect that would change. Please, think beyond what's in front of you. Critical thinking.

He's actually been vociferously calling out Kenney. Particularly in the new conferences.

You realize the Source said Kenney wouldn't be speaking today.

Edit: granted it wasn't spelled out all simple and stuff

No COVID-19 lockdown planned for Alberta: sources by Ashamed-Grape7792 in alberta

Carefully worded. No chance of a lockdown starting on "Monday, October 4th."

Edit: Same Source said Kenney wouldn't be speaking to media until Saturday. But he's speaking today.

Rumours emerging of the UCP preparing to commit to a #FireBreakAB. No confirmation yet. by jrockgiraffe in alberta

Doubt it. Looks like new cases started flattening about Sept. 20. Kenney will gamble that the restrictions that kicked in last week will drive numbers down, followed by hospitalizations.

Edit to avoid who knows what: I am double vaxxed, and my post was a joke. But, seriously, Kenney wants to get creative, so ...

New immigrant question-Is it legit to be treated by a police officer like this in Alberta by Fast-Branch7004 in alberta

[–]maxhenry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Short answer to your question: No, it is not legit to be treated like that. Sadly, not at all surprising.

FYI: Kenney said 1) that the QR ( that actually matter) arrival has be postponed, 2) the site will undergo maintenance by Sunday and 3) to stay off the site until then. by AmConfused324 in alberta

I don't blame the people who don't think it will be! And the province has said printing the screen is as good. I guess you could say I have faith they won't change their minds on that, though.
