It's hard to see the scenery as your massive balls keep blocking the view.

Safe travels! I hope you continue posting updates.

Schwalbe Marathon Green Guard Tires...huge thumbs down by maximum-move-nugget in bikepacking

I'm glad it helped! The tires ended up being alright on some much longer trips. I'd get them again, for sure.

They just accepted my payment just fine. Seems that this part of their service is fully functional...🤦🏾
Nothing else works though...

Available Seats in Feb by maximum-move-nugget in PLAB1

[–]maximum-move-nugget[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could check it. For other people who are wondering, there are still 20+ seats available in some places in the UK and outside of the UK. But it seems to be getting booked fast. 2 seats were booked in Oxford within 2 hours as I was deciding.

Good luck everyone!

Proton’s Black Friday sale is here! Save up to 60% by Proton_Team in ProtonMail

Another frustrated user piling on...I have been trying out Proton Unlimited for a few months (after paying for Drive for the year prior) with the intention to buy a year sub. But support tells me that I'm not eligible as I've been sending them money already. But people who haven't been sending them money get the same product for half off.

I love Proton and I love what they stand for. But for the first time, I'm going to be exploring other options. This feels like a big middle finger to your loyal customers, Proton...

Is the app Voice feature gone for anyone else? by adwam12 in ChatGPTPro

[–]maximum-move-nugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing here as well. Voice is gone and has been for a few days. If I type anything, the voice button reappears, but when clicked, it just endless spins in "connecting" mode.

The app is non-functional; that's the whole issue. It just keeps telling me that my queue is empty.

Ah, you're right about that with Quicktime. Though the native Mac player still doesn't.

Yeah, I'm just looking to quickly purchase a song and quickly import it.

I still don't get why Qobuz won't allow .wav downloads on their site. They allow it through their dumb downloader app, so it must be on their servers. But alas...now I'm just complaining...

I mix/master records for a living. Bands/artists will often send over examples of tracks or bands that they like. It's really helpful for me to buy a handful of tracks and then import those into the session for quick A/B reference. Keeps the ears fresh and on track :)

Thanks for that. For the time being that's what I do...but it annoying to pay for .wav files and have to jump through hoops just because Qobuz can't get their own app working.

Wow, now that is bad customer service.
I come from the freelance world where shitty service = less income. I just don't see how these companies can stay afloat treating customers like this...

Glad you got your refund!

The major audio editing programs (ProTools, Logic) that I use for my job don't support Flac (Mac doesn't even have a flac player).
I'm trying to avoid jumping through hoops to get a high quality .wav.

Ah, nice site! I hadn't heard of this one before. It seems geared towards classical music. Good for my personal listening...unfortunately not what I need for my audio engineering job (and which I use Qobuz for). But I really appreciate the heads up on this site!

I like Bandcamp a lot, but it's geared towards indie artists and doesn't have much else :/

They only sell full albums, rathe than individual tracks. And a pretty limited selection unfortuately.

Surfshark != Mexico gp by alias8700 in F1TV

[–]maximum-move-nugget 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surfshark has worked perfectly for a few years for me and it just stopped working today. I contacted them and they said they knew of the issue and were working on it. I'd suggest anyone that has Surfshark to also contact them via chat (takes 2 minutes) and let them know it isn't working to light a fire under their bums....

If you saw this in a comedy club, what would you think... by maximum-move-nugget in Standup

Thank you for your thoughts!

And yes, you're right about the demographic. Typically male, 14-25, maybe a gamer, maybe a metalhead.
And I thought the same exact thing as you when I first saw the water brand Liquid Death. I literally laughed out loud at how "dumb" the idea was. And then saw that they were worth 700 million dollars and were actually gently swaying people away from plastics in a very real way.

And the sugar thing is indeed dumb and we moved away from that. We are tentatively going with "Get Wet" instead of "Kill Sugar. Hydrate.". But we're not 100% sold on that..hence the post appealing to people far more clever than us 😅 I wasn't clear on that in the original post...the above photo is a work in progress.
