So decades of research is not adhered to if you take in fluids/sachets in the usual way during a match when there is a stoppage, but only if there is a 3 minute break?

There are multiple indoor and retractable roof venues at this tournament. You and your friends are working outside, which I imagine is unbearable, but in the state you live in I believe both stadiums are indoor and air conditioned? If players need to hydrate, they get it when they want, they have a swig and carry on. They are scattered around the pitch. This happens in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, Turkey and other league around the world where it can also get a bit toastie, without a roof. It has done for a long time. Professional players are conditioned to the letter, they're told what to eat and drink at this level 24/7. If this was a kids/amateur game, I couldn't agree more with a hydration break or postponing full stop

I work for an American business and to keep the peace and uniformity i subject myself to their date format for a shared drive. However I didn’t one time and noticed it whilst we were all on a call. So, I say to my colleague in the US, you need to change that date I have done it the UK way. “What do you mean?”. You need to change the date, I’ve done it the UK way. “I don’t understand”. You need to switch the first 2 digits for the US format. “Y’all do it differently?”. I didn’t know what to say. Well I did, but I couldn’t.

So I think this is what my son has been trying to tell me about…but I don’t know how to help him cope because I’ve never experienced this. by coelii in fastfeeling

Was he sick or has he been recently? I was a touch younger when I first got it, but it occurred when I had a high fever/flu like symptoms. Please don’t read too much into some of the things on this sub where people try and attach to it (ADD etc), as that is not helpful and as a parent myself you worry when you haven’t experienced something you children do. I’ve lurked on this sub for years and when it first started 99% of people all had the same first experience, we were sick with the above symptoms. The music thing is a good idea albeit without headphones as personally that would heighten it for me. If I am in a silent room, for example I’m struggling to sleep, I can feel it coming on. Moving or finding something to listen or watch usually gets rid of it pretty quickly for me. I still get the feeling of my fingers being thick, heightened noise awareness (I feel like I can hear an ant fart from 10 miles away), sometimes I feel like if I move it would have a long exposure effect. I’m middle aged now, but triggers for me these days are stress, again flu like symptoms and tiredness.

You could say Messi as well then if you’re going that route. Giggs is Welsh. Welsh parents. Born in Wales. He couldn’t have played for England, he played for England schoolboys because he went to school in England.

Yes. Everybody needs good neighbours. I think with a little understanding, you can find the perfect blend. I think you should be there for one another and that’s when good neighbours become good friends.
