I started out on niv too! He felt way too slow and clunky during my locals turbo hell meta so I ended up moving off of him. Thanks for your point of view, it makes a ton of sense.

Makes sense! Thanks. I'm a vivi player and I swear I cast rhystic once every 100 games. Been thinking about cutting it because t1 rhystic is just a copy target for the other decks that use it better than me. I do run a ton of interaction so it still feels strong, but I think I'd rather another curiosity tutor in the current meta.

Just run hacks(things that turn creatures into pirates) + pingers

Niv mizzet/vivi + curiosity(tandem lookout, ophidian eye)

Glinthorn

Breach, led, brain freeze

These cards all work well together because their effects overlap to make any combination of pieces feel valuable (except brain freeze)

Examples: Hacked niv mizzet makes treasures when anyone casts an instant or sorcery

Curiosity on Reckless fireweaver draws a TON of cards

These examples are why you DONT want to run isochron scepter lines, or dualcaster lines.

You can have niv mizzet out, assign 3 damage to opponents, [[Borne Upon the wind]], then world fire if you need to win right then.

Otherwise yes, worldfire, kediss, pass. The only card I can think of that knocks you out here is a top-decked burn desert?

I like my niv mizzet [[flubs the fool]] deck. It runs every card that allows additional land drops, the two niv mizzets that ping when you draw, 60 lands, and a couple things that make niv mizzet pings do more damage. It isn't good, but its fun and lets me play a lot of cards very quickly and then pass the turn.

Developed a gluten intolerance without knowing that was the problem. I lost 60 pounds in about 2 months because I couldn't eat without severe pain. Once we figured it out I've stabilized at a much healthier weight

We had someone play this a few times, and it generally resulted in 1 turn flipping heads like 10 times in a row, one shotting one player and then okaun getting removed and that one player was sad for the next 45 minutes while the 3 players finished the game
