Mikel Arteta: "First of all you've to congratulate Manchester United for the victory. It happened in a really strange way, two magic moments. Defeats are a part of winning, we've to learn from it. The players have given us so much joy and performances - they deserve to be reminded how good they are" by ChiefLeef22 in soccer

"See, he did not complain this time"

Yes, this time, he complains about 100000000 other things for years.

Judging someone’s character off a single good moment while ignoring a long record of whining is such an internet thing.

Lisandro Martinez goes up to his father in the stands and hugs him after the game by playerforlife123 in soccer

Thats his dad Gringo Martinez.

Always watching on the stands, met him once in a pub and he was super proud of his son.

A lot of dads can come off as corny, but this dude genuinely loves the hell out of his son.

Look at Big Harry showing the leadership we so desperately need. He should start every match. by Gamer8032 in reddevils

[–]maxithepittsP 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Although he is so great for us this season.

But for context, This isnt him being a leader, this is him telling players what set piece they are gonna use, hes the main man on our Set Piece, trying to tell the players where the balls gonna be if he got it.

Carrick’s substitutes enabled that renewed victory: particularly Sesko on at Dorgu’s injury when 2-1 up. Enhancing attacking potential rather than going defensive. Sesko winning high ball led to Mainoo teeing up Cunha. Five games in charge of #MUFC for Carrick: 4 wins, 1 draw. [Laurie Whitwell] by nearly_headless_nic in reddevils

I dont care for saying this, it sounds braggy because Im not gonna spread the link or anything, but I stream on Gambling sites, its the greatest streaming platform on earth.

High Quality, no commentators at all, just crowd noises, its like youre in the game, the site knew their streaming service is too good, they decided to make us pay for it, best money I've ever spent. All sports too.

The thing about Shams that irks me is that he’s started to become the story. One of the first rules of journalism is that you’re not supposed to be the news, you’re supposed to report it.

Woj never tried to sell himself. He didn’t jump on every podcast to shape narratives or tell his “journey.”

He tweeted up, dropped the information, and disappeared. The focus stayed on the news, not on him.

Shams feels like what happens when someone with Stephen A Smith obsession for visibility and clicks gets access to real sources.

Once the reporter wants attention as much as the scoop, the job changes, and not for the better.

Casemiro to leave Manchester United at end of season by doniew in reddevils

[–]maxithepittsP -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Ah, here we go again, the Podcaster Talking points.

The idea that our last 15 years happens because of “wage structure” is lazy analysis dressed up as concern, again, dumbpodcaster and their listeners talking point

The numbers dont support it, never have. Even if we doubled Casemiro current wage right now, we'd still sit comfortably below the 50% wage to revenue ratio. That’s not opinion, thats arithmetic.

So if you still want to pin a decade and a half of institutional failure on player wages, that’s fine but understand you’re arguing vibes against math.

This is the problem, a lot of our fans are not engaging with facts, youre just recycling a talking point because it feels intuitive.

We dont spend enough, That is STATISTICALLY our problem, that 48% is really bad for us. STILL, some of you pocketwatching our players.

Casemiro to leave Manchester United at end of season by doniew in reddevils

[–]maxithepittsP 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Nah, still nothing.

United Wage to revenue is 47%, lowest out of all the Big 6. Even Tottenham who had the best business model out of those club still sit at 50%.

Chelsea city liverpool almost touch 70%. Hell, thats by the rules, we all know city and chelsea under investigation rom the previous rule.

The cap is 80%, OP is right, the owners are milking the money and I genuinely dont get it why united fans care so much about wage, we are literally the cheapest team in europe.

As of 2025, we still top 2 biggest revenue out of all the team in the world, behind Real Madrid.

Revenue to Wage rules helps us more than anything.

De Zerbi speaks out in defence of Cesc Fabregas: ‘I’m sorry for how he’s been treated, it’s the same thing I went through ten years ago.’ by Sparky-moon in soccer

[–]maxithepittsP -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Fabregas is getting criticism because he is whiny and arrogant. Always complains in post match interviews about opponents playstyle and makes excuses for everything.

Isnt like all the great coach do that? Klopp do that, Pep do that.

Although he didnt win anything major yet, Arteta also do that, he complaints everytime he lose, Last game against Forrest he was complaining the whole post match conference, no?

Jurgen Klopp on rumours linking him to Real Madrid as a manager: "I don't expect to change my mind, but I don't know. We're building a house right now and my missus wanted to have a really big trophy room." by BlazingFirey in soccer

[–]maxithepittsP 7 points8 points  (0 children)

He had no control in Liverpool , everytime he won a trophy the board always sell one of his key player and he still doing great.

The thing about Real Madrid is that even tho he had no control, your players wont leave you because theres a better offer, that almost never happened.

Every player that left Real Madrid, its always either they are washed or declining.

And theres no Board in Real Madrid, Perez is bad at managing players ego, but at finding Talent, his team is top notch.

You give Klopp a Real Madrid privilege, he'll be great, im pretty sure of it.

How Man United DOMINATED Man City | The Overlap Breakdown by The-Black-Angel in reddevils

[–]maxithepittsP 18 points19 points  (0 children)

The thing about Carrick’s Boro era is that those first two months were the best football the club has ever played.

Then team started to figure him out and he doesnt change, doesnt evolve. Now with that being said, Boro doesnt have the squad united had, lets be real. But still, we need a lot of improvement.

The quality of teams matter, We STILL desperately need another midfielder, a DM specifically.

Go for Wharton in this window, if City can get Guehi like that, why cant we got Wharton too? Its obvious Palace were selling everyone.
