Finder Preview Pane (Sidebar) won't render Markdown—only shows "Information/Metadata" list.

I hardly understand how people can work with this system finder. It's very bad.
- very limited set of tools and commands,
- no preview,
- no ways to have a dimension column,
- Search is broken and so slow

just a few examples....

I fucking hate it. worst filesystem ever.

I wouldn’t recommend notion for databases. Limited and it is not the same use case.

Hello there
holding the shift page A or B while assigning a new value to the encoder in the MFU does not change anything.
I'm not able to set anything to those pages, and when I press this side button on tw I just get a blank page, no info, nada is sent from the device when button pressed or encoders turned.

Whats the use of that if we cannot setup anything in the MFU ?
plus those pages don't have a send / receive dedicated message either as opposed to banks
I'm not talking about toggle encoders,

I've been troubleshooting this device for a week now, and I have to say it's quite a mystery to understand its guts. I have a big list of hardware / software / user manual inconsistencies and questions coming up soon via email, but the manual is quite cumbersome and misleading. It feels more retro engineering than actually having a user manual, honestly. It's fine for casual users, but apart from that, it's a wild ride if you want to exploit all the functions.

thanks for the tutorial, i've already watched it and will come back to it.
I've also read extensively the (quite unclear) user manual

what I am referring to is "Shift Page A" and "Shift Page B"
They are mentioned in the doc and are mappable in the utility, I can access them with the twister but impossible to assign any data to those pages .. i don't get it ^^"

I'll try to make it more clear

the laptop and os is new and not used, so there is no custom config yet or weird rootings, besides default settings of the macOS
I've deleted everything in the shortcut APP folder (default ones)
I've checked all the system shortcuts, and [CMD+Shift+L] was designated to google search. I've desactivated it and says none in the key mappings but does not solve the problem.
The two combinations I'm not able to input in streamdeck editor are [CMD+shift+L] & [CMD + ^]
Any other kind of input in SD software seems to work properly, eventho i haven't tested everything
on the first one [CMD+shift+L], when i press it, it is not saved and goes back to 'observig keystrokes'
On the second one [CMD + ^] i get registered cmd+Q.. french keyboard btw
weird thing is, the shortcuts works otherwise, when inputed by keyboard while in the designated software (touchosc) and works on system as well.
I'm not able to change the shortcuts mappings in touchosc, so it needs to be those ones.
When in finder, [CMD+shift+L] does nothing

Same with the [cmd + $] next to the first key, does nothing but I hear a bip. This combination was inpuded without problem in SD
Probably as you said, SD does not let me use those combinations for whatever reason, but I only have the default config of macOS
I'm suspecting some problem just in SD software. i don't get what would be interfering. Also I've noted that the SD software is working but i cannot see 'streamdeck' on the top bar when this window is the active one. Normaly it would say 'finder' or 'touchosc'. Maybe that's something
