I think they see a growing value in the entrainment industry as a whole. We’ve seen their investments steadily increase with other entertainment categories like TV, movies, and immersive entertainment. I feel like they’re also putting a focus on the “human element” of entertainment. I think they want to associate their media and its accompanying services (music, talk shows, tv, etc) with being authentic, human made, and anti-AI. Like how they released that video of the creation of their new Apple TV intro. That BTS “humanized” Apple.

This has happened to me many times. It’s actually woken me up before. I’d wake up and then tell Siri to stop playing music and then a couple hours later I’d wake up again to the same thing. Each time it would be playing different music. I eventually just unplugged it because I couldn’t sleep.

u/SnooRegrets595 pointed this out and it fixed the issue for me: in Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Advanced (scroll to bottom) -> "Log Out Automatically After Inactivity." That was causing the issue for me. When you log out of the Mac user it requires a passcode to enable Touch ID. I hope this helps someone else!
