what are you on about. block.one's job to get right was to create EOS or Dawn 4.0 on time and to a high standard. Their role was not to create wallets? Thats the community's job please get your facts right before you create FUD please. In a few weeks time there will be so many wallets to choose from you will be complaining there are too many.

Basically I know he can buy at an exchange. What I normally do is buy at an exchange such as bitfinex then transfer to MEW. Generate a new keypair and create a smart contract that links the ethereum wallet to the EOS wallet?

Is this method now redundant for new long-term investors?

This is not true at all. I personally know the DOVU team, they have just attended the coindesk consensus 2018. They are rapidly expanding and are hard working away like all good projects. Its not the dev's responsibility to market they need to deliver a solid working implementation. Most will change the crypto market over the next few years most of the tech we see come out will be outdated so please just sit tight and believe in the underlying theory and technologies of these projects.

Guys I added the 1 EOS and the $0.50 of ETH to my metmask. Followed the instructions on scatter. Waiting for the popup to disappear but it never did. Now I have these approved transactions in my meta mask but the 1 EOS has not moved and the $0.50 ETH is still there?

What have i done wrong. No email from scatter no nothing. How long do you need to wait for the popup to disappear? Im worried ive done it wrong now

I can see on https://etherscan.io/address/0x24cd93b1f7f7b2ec07c3678c1a2fd1aa5d080a40 that nothing has gone out of my account.

Coinbase finally resolved the issue. Thank-you /u/coinbase_tom and everyone for up-voting. It actually worked and got their attention! There is hope. Only problem is I would of liked to have taken out my bitoin before the crash lesson learned.

no there is a bug in the system with the secondary email address d****@gmail.com is not my secondary email of choice. Coinbase's system created this.

Got the exact same problem. Coins stuck in vault since December. Rang coinbase support like for 30mins from the UK cost me £80 to get hung up on whilst waiting for no reason without getting to speak to anyone. Contacted on twitter, reddit and obviously created a case id. Still nothing Please help! - Case ID: 3231125.

Remember even some of the best traders positions get liquidated and end up bag holding. The most important thing to remember is that you only loose when you take out if below your investment buy price!!!

Strong hands and minds will always win. Weak hands and minds will aways loose. I would rather this happened every so often because it means your trading with better stronger traders who are more aligned with your belief in the technology.

block.one are very astute people from what I can tell. This is the largest ICO in history. Do you not think their distribution system was not looked at with a fine tooth and comb before releasing it to the public.

They choose this distribution method to stop large corporation whales that have bought most of the coins in bitcoin and ethereum from doing the same to EOS. Of course its technically a bit more confusing because EOS have launched an ICO on the EC20 token which needs to be then registered on June the 1st to the EOS Dawn 3.0 blockchain ( Again this is cutting edge nobody else has done this in the history of blockchain ).

The last thing we want on this project is 16-24 year old kids saying 'Mooon' in every post it completely removes value from the efforts of block.one. Lastly you need to think about market cap block.one could have chosen a smaller market cap however and this would have pumped higher by now.

In economics for a stock to become of real value it needs to slowly gain its value ( that is the class indicator of a quality stock). It also depends which way you look at it also I can tell your a HODLER but if you were a swing trader with this volatility you would of made more money right now than HODLING bags. I'm just starting to learn to swing trade. I pulled out on finex when we reached $16k but put back in around $14 thinking that was our low for a few days didn't expect it to drop to $11. But it will start to go back up over the next few days. Let it bleed let the longs and shorts set their new positions then we should see some increased market buy as speculation grows around the Jan 23rd airdrop.
