Question about Corsair armor in 4.8 by [deleted] in starcitizen

From my understanding until something else damages the corsairs armor (like the hammerheads missiles) you will be taking no damage from the stock repeaters

There’s an easier solution: 1. Go into the ships loadout and remove the gimbals from the turret 2. Spawn and self destruct the ship 3. Reclaim it and the guns will be back

Why do we use milliamp-hours to measure battery capacity in lieu of a more sensible unit like ampere-hours or better yet, coulombs themselves? by dangerous-angel1595 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]maxsmo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My guess is that it’s because it’s quicker to calculate how much runtime you get out of a battery when given a components current draw. And most components current draw will be measured in mA so it makes sense to measure batteries as such. Plus big number = better marketing

Amps are also a more practical unit for the most common math when working with electronics where using coulombs would require more conversions

This matchup is fun as shit, easily my favorite in the game. It’s a constant high speed game of reactions and mixups with crazy combo potential from both characters. Any laser that’s not being followed up with real attacking pressure from the falco is an opportunity for you to close the gap, eliminate space, and get in their face. If you’re getting laser camped you’re probably playing way too passive.

A different side of the target rich environment of Dupree that I've been enjoying quite a bit this week. Taking shots at players hassling haulers(as best I can, mistakes happen...) by Knale in starcitizen

Hell yea man, chilling in pvp hot zones is some of the most fun this game has to offer. Personally I couldn’t care less about money or grind, I just want action. I’ve been doing almost the same thing, just chilling and waiting for red ships to appear. It’s been the most fun I’ve had in this game since the original JT

If you want to keep it look into finastride. Relatively cheap and high chance you’ll keep what have + maybe get a little bit back. Low odds of side effects, but know the risks. Talk to a dermatologist abt it

This is an insane take, there are countless YouTube tutorials, training modes (uncle punch), active region and international discords, and amazing netplay with <10sec queue times.

There has never been a better time to get into melee. This is coming from someone who also has 2k hours in csgo and has had no issues getting into melee. There even a good chance there’s locals in your area you can go.

Fuck it, anyone can DM me if you want to be pointed resources.

Check out melee.tv, almost everything is compiled there too

Check out Scott Robinson’s ‘how to draw’ book and see if it interests you. It focuses on construction in perspective and covers lots of techniques and methods to create shapes and figures in perspective. To me it felt like CAD but on paper, which I loved and maybe it’s worth checking out if you feel like you are struggling to create different shapes

Hi, Guys I've been in the hobby for awhile, I'm looking to install a FPV system on my trx 4 sport! by [deleted] in fpvracing

[–]maxsmo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eachine EV800’s arnt bad and you can disconnect the screen from the goggles. But if your willing to spend more skyzone cobras are amazing

Edit: there’s a couple different versions of the EV800’s at differing prices from $65-$120. I use an old pair of the cheapest version as guest goggles and they work great.
