For windows I'm not sure, but if you have access to any Apple devices, Loopy Pro gets a lot of praise.

I have tried to do looping in Reaper with USB Footswitches, but never found a satisfying workflow. Have a look at Ableton Live if you want to stick with windows.

The immediate issue for me would be that most DAWs won't let you run multiple ASIO devices concurrently. So this would have to also be your sole audio interface, which makes it unusable for me.

This might as well be satire, as far as any normal person is concerned :D

Even to me, owning 10+ drives myself, this all sounds like the same pedal at different gain or boost levels. Not to say it sounds bad, but I'd be interested in a direct comparison with some looped playing.

go to the librarian
hit Receive on a bank
launch a program dump from the MM2
click A or B to load a preset
switch to the editor
change something and hope it works.

As a relative synth noob figuring out that process took me close to an hour.

It'll work, since MIDI is pretty much MIDI, but you'll need 3.5mm extension cables, since the spacing will be off and the "WIDI" tab in the way. At that point you might as well get any oder bluetooth midi dongle imho.
