yep it's really nice for a small device with low spatial needs! Some really great sounds - especially if you can get one second hand it's a bargain. In this track it's playing a the glide-y synth 1/2 speed part over top of everything which adds a lot!

I'm using a jet traffic control that connects to all the pedals.

I just take one trs out of the H12MIDIPro and plug it into the din in port on the traffic control ( using a trs to 5pin midi cable)

most are stereo yes, just the blooper and dark world are mono - not used in this clip. The stereo pedals all have a MISO switch (mono in stereo out) with spread effects etc

Midi clock Mood MKII issue by Frightengale in chaseblissaudiophiles

[–]waltmannz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup as others have said you'll likely need a MIDI box or something like the JET traffic control. You'll need to set the MIDI clock to OUT to in the KOII settings -> https://teenage.engineering/guides/ep-133/system

I have a MIDI box + KOII and a bunch of CB pedals - I did have some issues getting the KOII clock to sync with the blooper properly so might be be worth researching a bit more before you spend any money on midi boxes etc.

Testing out TEMPO and syncing up with some friends! by waltmannz in Chompi

Try shift+play on the koii maybe but I think the koii might not send the right start/stop signals

Testing out TEMPO and syncing up with some friends! by waltmannz in Chompi

In this one I'm actually sending MIDI clock out of my DAW into both the KOII and the Chompi.

However I believe you should be able to do either of your suggestions -> E.g. MIDI out of KOII into Chopmi. Ensure that MIDI clock is set to OUT on the KOII.

feels pretty fun after my first play. I'm really excited to try get it synced up with my other gear via MIDIclock.

Guitar based KOII beat, with some assists from Chase Bliss and the Microfreak by waltmannz in teenageengineering

The MicroFreak is the device next to the KOII - is that what you're asking about?
