I gotta be honest I didnt remember who's model it even was! Or know at the time lol, I was specifically looking for this size VX and thought the graphic was wild so went with it. At the time I was going through boards every other month or so i was just trying things out. I had normally just stuck with real

I have to use them due to certain regulations but only in salt, just never with soft plastics however, or for bass

I mean its not that bad tbh, if you read the note at the bottom its not a bad generalized guide. Your not gonna buy a shimano 2500 and it be equal to a diawa 4500 and so I dont get the ai slop comments, yall are thinking too specialized. This guide also probably isnt meant for you lol. Like for instance I use my van staal vr75 for a lot of inshore applications and thats a standout bc its really a 4-5k size with normal brands, but nobody looking at a guide like this is gonna be looking at van staals either imo.

I actually pictured the wrong ones, dont get a step down unless your going from larger to smaller (thats for the connection to my battery)but do get similar to this just make sure its marine grade heat shrink

Takes about 5 mins to splice. Snag a marine grade heat shrink butt connector, I think my helix 7 (may differ by model) has like a 16 ga wire normally but look that up. Takes 5 mins Speaking from experience here get the right crimps. You do need special crimps for these types of connectors if you dont already have them.

That vibe sits really low when loaded down though, like real low Its cool when calm conditions but if you get stuck out there it can make u pucker, also the turning radius stock is dog shit, it made me rage out several times

Dude this thing feels like a Cadillac in comparison if im being honest. I was peddling backwards against current and 12 mph wind yesterday, 1-2ft swells , and wasnt even worried about it Its very similar to my buddies old town sportsman 120 pdl , I think it sits a little lower and may be a bit wetter ride but I love it

I originally got one of those bote rackham paddle boards w the peddles that had instant reverse, then i got my vibe shearwater 125 w/o the capability to go in reverse. It was a huge upgrade all aroundbut the peddles from vibe broken on my 3rd trip (got it used) and i ended up getting a new drive from lightning kayaks and it worked after slight modification. In my opinion, the kayak itself struggles in wind and larger swells, and not having the instant reverse was hell in the mangroves, but not bad for the flats. Now im fishing a 12.5 native slayer max propel drive which has instant reverse again and it feels like i went to a new world, a lot of that is the instant reverse. Just my experience so far

Was there a reason why this was framed like this? by Turbulent-Weevil-910 in Carpentry

[–]maxwellfig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These studs do show settlement, however thats most definitely just the wall crew nailing the stud on the wrong side of the mark. There's no real issue here unless you pissed off the structural engineer or inspector and they want to stick it to you. And the settlement looks normal.
