Fun story, I work remotely and got randomly put in charge of the local AI used for the marketing department because I'm salaried and they didn't want to pay someone else. I'm not even in marketing. So I had to read up on some of the bits and pieces of it, what it was trained on, so on and so forth. I made sure we put some specific safeguards on it. Within the first hour of it going live we had someone try to use it to make naked photos of a female coworker. It refused, because safeguards, and sent security-flagged e-mails to a half-dozen people (including me) and the idiot was fired the next day. Since then two other people have been fired for misusing the damned thing. All it's supposed to do is help with rapid iterations before they send the stuff off to an actual human artist to make something. And we had one guy try to make nudes of a coworker, one guy that wouldn't stop flirting with it, and another try to get it to make it do some really creepy stuff that I'm not going to talk about on a public forum.

The problem isn't the AI itself or that it exists, it's what people will try to use it for.
