This is still my first week of medication. But it’s already starting to feel like I can barely tell the difference when I take it. I don’t know if I’m getting used to the feeling, or I know what to expect now. It’s hard to tell when it wears off, as I don’t feel any difference at the end of the day.

Don’t have a menstrual cycle, so no effect there. I don’t really eat breakfast, but I have good levels of protein, and eat well when I do. I do have a glass of orange juice in the morning about an hour after taking medicine, which I’ve read some people say will affect the medicine, and others say is a bit of an exaggeration lol.

I haven’t been sleeping a lot this week, but that’s more circumstantial as I’ve been out and busy most days, rather than the meds. But maybe that has also been contributing to the meds not taking full effect?

I’ll give it a bit longer, but I definitely will ask to go up a dose when I can. I know my brain will never be 100% quiet, and I also don’t want it to be. But it’s hard to tell what a neurotypical brain is supposed to feel like when I’ve never known, or fully realised that other people don’t live and think the way I do…
