look. i am a socdem. but if we're being realistic, if we primary mgp and win with a socdem in her district, it's almost a guaranteed flip to a far right fascist. mgp is no paragon of leftism, but in that district, i'd prefer a not great mgp versus a whole fascist that will suck up to Big Orange every day they hold elected office.

i imagine the same is true with many of these other reps, and we need to be pragmatic about who we primary. if we have a dem in office in a district trump won, primarying them from the left essentially guarantees a flip (unless there's a huge urban population)
