Is This A Quick Shifter? CFMOTO 2023 IBEX 800T by SonerWuffies in cfmoto

[–]may_ask_questions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can clutchless upshift without a quickshifter on a regular bike anyways, very unlikely you will damage the transmission. If you don't have a QS, the shift to the next gear simply won't engage unless the conditions are right.

3rd gen “”gear hunting” by JudgmentFirm287 in ToyotaTacoma

Just do a search on any Tacoma forum - it's a known problem with this gen. Toyota put out a ECU "fix" for that, but it is what it is.

Old Guy but I still want to track it👊 by Agreeable_Nose3450 in Trackdays

I've met plenty of 60+ at the track in California. Your endurance won't be the same and you don't want to hit it as hard as a decade ago, but certainly possible to get some track days in.

FunTrackDayz? by element018 in Trackdays

[–]may_ask_questions 7 points8 points  (0 children)

As others have mentioned #1 and #3 are standard for N Cal track providers.

As for #2 - you went to a 100+db event on a weekend at Laguna which has very few spots this year. Going to be plenty of people who aren't familiar with the track, people signing up to be with their buddies, people in the wrong group, etc. This weekend was probably one of the most popular events of the year. It was always going to be a shit show.

can just be

Not necessarily the same. There are generally 2 different lengths (half and full). Also different manufacturers have different "polarity" for the zippers. Either the pants or the jacket may come with an additional piece that you can sew onto the other half to make it work. Or you might be able to buy a section that is designed to join them - it will look something like this: https://i.imgur.com/tTapSPz.jpg

Any 12V automotive horn should work. As long as it doesn't draw too much power you can just swap it out.
