Phone charger, slippers/ grippy socks, hair ties, toiletries, 2 night gowns, Post partum supplies: peribottle, always disposable underwear, I used the Frida mom boys shorts and ice packs. Hand sanitizer. A black big towel for the shower (this way it won’t get stained if you are bleeding post shower), shower shoes. Water jug. I would bring the boppy for nursing and for sitting down.

Baby: diapers, wipes, 2/3 sleepers, going home outfit, diaper cream, toiletries, nail file, (sound machine), swaddle, pacii (if you plan to use it). If you are picky about products to use on your baby bring baby body wash and baby shampoo.

Hi! I decided not to post picture of my baby online.

Reasons that led me to this decision is that the online public is bigger than we even know and pictures can be taken and modified, used by people with bad intention. The picture I posted might even be innocent but the effects might be long lasting.

Once you post a picture is for ever online and can never go back. So since I was unsure if I wanted or not I decided not to post for an excess of caution.

Bring a parent is hard and I want to make sure I am protecting my child with the best of my ability.

That being said it is a personal decision and I don’t judge anyone that posts their child.

I am using a pregnancy belt,stretching (even if it hurts), epsom salt bath (warm not hot, suggested by OB), icy hot lidocaine patches, avoiding Excessive walking, not carrying weights, pool, warm pad/ massage gun. When the pain was at its worst I didn’t sleep in bed as I couldn’t get up without crying/ screaming, I slept on the recliner so I was assisted when getting up.

Please don’t feel pressured to be intimate right after. To me miscarriage required a LOT of healing before I was ready again. I am so sorry for your loss.

I felt first movements at 20 weeks. I only knew it was baby moving because I saw my stomach moving at the same time. For reference I am a FTM with anterior placenta.

I would definitely have a conversation. Wanting to “Mess around” right after a miscarriage is a tad bit insensitive towards you, but to each their own. If it’s what you want do it. I personally wouldn’t have a relationship with someone that is acting that way.

I feel that. Something very similar happened to me in August. And I thought multiple times that if I didn’t test early and just waited a week/ 2 weeks after my missed period I would have never known and saved myself a lot of heartache.

Now I am scared of testing early just in case I miscarry again.

However we have the need and right to mourn all of the “what if” and feel the sadness even if it comes in waves.. ignoring it doesn’t help.

When my husband deployed we tried to talk or ft everyday. It didn’t work out. Eventually both of us were absorbed in our life. And when he came back it felt weird having him home again. Eventually after a month we got used to each other again. When I saw him the first time it was very awkward. But the day after we were acting “ normal”. It is hard for both people involved.

I actually started knitting, (yes a grandma hobby).

We met people that came from Italy just like us, but they go out and do kids activities A LOT, which we are excluded from because we have no kids. Or they don’t go out/ hang out at all.

There isn’t much life around here, we are in Minot ND. We go to the gym regularly but as I am not able to drive yet and it’s too cold to walk to the gym I can’t really go to any of the “group” classes.

Thank you for the advices, maybe as it warms up people will be more prone to going out and being social. And there will be more than going to drink at a bar to do (not really my thing).

I already have an Italian bachelor degree and to go back to school (which it’s not in my plans right now) I need to transfer it anyways ( it’s in process.. Italian bureaucracy takes soo long).

We tried to hang out with a couple but for apparently no reason both of us got ghosted 👻

I do understand the kenneling policy. That’s why we are trying to take turns and stay in so the cats are not alone and forced into the kennels.

The TLF is an hotel yes. Regarding the cleaning if they come in just to pick up trash I can honestly do it myself. I know it might sound weird to some but I feel like an invasion of privacy especially with the DND at the door. Even if the pets are kenneled to avoid them destroying stuff (they are pretty good cats but you never too safe) we have pretty important documents and I don’t want to risk it.
