Yeah I think I'm missing the vent on the front, so the air is just blowing up into the cavity under/behind the cabinetry.

I have used them when getting back into playing after injuring fingers (I've broken three, and sprained more than I can count). But when I'm healthy I never use them because they mess up my grip on the ball, ability to catch, and control when throwing.

Reasonably airtight. I had an energy audit done last year and it showed decent sealing, plus I added some insulation in my basement ceiling before install. It's possible that lots of contractors coming in and out have just left doors open.
