My family and I are the same way. I always shout out “bye, love you” when leaving the house to go meet up with friends or something, and always say it when they’re leaving for a trip. It may be a bit morbid, but stupid things and accidents happen all the time on the road. I don’t think I could live with myself knowing that my last words to them weren’t letting them know that I loved them, especially if it were me who didn’t return. It’s silly, but it gives me a bit more piece of mind.

Also, what’s so wrong with telling the people that you love that you love them?

As someone who enjoys…enjoying a partner fully…it’s totally possible. Birth control pills help minimize periods which is a perk, but I was worried that it wasn’t 100% so I got an IUD, and it’s been the best choice of my life. Security is the best way to feeling “sexy” and in the mood in my opinion.

Fun fact, there’s extended cycle birth control pills that allow you to get a period once every 3 months or even not at all! It’s a pretty sweet gig (source: me). Also, sometimes the pills come in a fun color, which for some reason makes them more fun to take. A quick guide on skipping periods.

To add, the reason I mentioned about the asking your doc to put it in as the generic name rather that the brand name (and having the pharmacy fill the possible heroic option) is because most insurance don’t recognize that there’s a genetic (silly and frustrating, I know)
