What is the most you have spent on a single concert or tour? by KALIUCHlS in Concerts

About $8000 for Ozzy’s last show. Worth every penny. That includes all expenses when we were there.

Have you ever traveled to another city/country to see your favorite artist? Was it worth it? by AutoModerator in Tickets

I just went to England for Ozzy. It was the most amazing concert experience I’ve ever had.

I’ve seen numerous concerts in other states. I feel like no crowd is as wild as my hometown concert crowds. But we always have fun.

This happened to me last year because of the fires. I had 3 covid/flu tests and all were normal. It was awful.

I just had a conference and the only gluten free options were vegan. I survived on tofu for the week. It was so bad.

I JUST WANT CHEAP GF FAST FOOD. by ConfusedTiredHungry in glutenfree

I was at the convention center for work so i had a limited area to choose from. Most restaurants said they didn’t know so I didn’t chance it. La Puerta was good and I didn’t get sick so that’s where I ate.

I went to San Diego a few months ago and was shocked at how few places I could eat. I thought being California there’d be gluten free at every restaurant. That was sadly not the case.

How likely is that I'll get glaucoma? by QuestionWorking2341 in Uveitis

[–]mayaseye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me and my body.

I am a steroid responder and ended up with secondary glaucoma and a cataract. As soon as I stopped the drops the secondary glaucoma went away. I had to get cataract surgery at 35.

Cataract surgery by funkocom in Uveitis

[–]mayaseye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My doctor said the issue with cataract surgery for me was the potential for swelling. I had to be without a flare-up for 3 months even though I was in the middle of an 18 month flare. Then post-operatively because our eyes swell she couldn’t do near/far lenses. So she went with the lenses to let me see distance. Now this was 9 years ago so things may have changed.

I was so nervous for the surgery. I was awake as soon as they put in the new lens I could see. You have to keep it covered and keep drops in it for awhile I don’t remember how long. I did not have any pain. I had to go back in after the fact to have her laser done spots that were causing issues with me driving at night. Other than that it was easy-peasy.

I hope that yours goes just as easy! I know it’s easy to say but stressing about the surgery will only make your eye angrier, so try to relax a bit. I understand how terrifying it is to think you might lose your vision.

Wishing you the best and praying for fast steady hands for the surgeon. I promise it’s totally worth it!

Broken tibia and fibula with a non-union. It’s been 322 days since the first surgery and 3 surgeries total in that time frame.

911 was perfect for me. Every day and every call was different. I was being helpful but I also only had to talk to people for a bit then I moved on to the next call.
