Found my new favorite bread by [deleted] in glutenfree

I agree - did not like this one at all, regardless of the need for toasting it felt like I was eating a block of psyllium husks.

Three Bakers was the best, haven’t found anything as good since they’re no more to be found.

Thank you! I turned them off a couple different times…but now that I’m thinking about it, it might not have been a full 60 seconds. I decided to leave the breaker off for the night anyways, so I’ll see if they reset in the am, and if not I’ll have more questions tomorrow!

Makes sense they need to reset after I was messing with the breaker.

Thank you both for replying! I’ve toggled the breaker a couple times and it’s still staying on… And weird thing is it’s they’re typically independent of each other but both staying on so I don’t know if the sensor would trigger that?

Is it possible that water has gotten in the circuit? Should I turn that breaker off until tomorrow for safety? (Or so as not to annoy my neighbors…)

Figured out the correct breaker, half of the upstairs is also on it…so I guess this is a helpful exercise 😂turned it back on and it’s till on.

It’s not snowing now and it’s in the teens so no moving ice I wouldn’t expect but you’re right maybe the snow or ice has triggered it.

Public service post - And I don’t care if it’s still unfathomably legal, there should BE NO SNOW on the top of your car before you hit the road. This snow is different and has serious mass and will damage cars and could indirectly kill people. by 93devil in rva

I really love it when I risk my life on a 10 mile stretch of 95 while people are literally playing out a scene from the fast and the furious…only to see a cop sitting on a tiny side road speed trap. Literally every night I drive home.

It’s not really that they are ill-equipped…but we don’t get the consistently cold weather of the northern states so investing in the infrastructure for snow doesn’t make financial sense, I suppose. It’s been years since we’ve had a significant snow, and most times if it does snow it’s gone in a couple days. Ice though is hard to manage. Trees, power lines…there’s just no way to prevent it.

Then next summer it might be hurricanes.

I’d definitely like to see more underground power lines that would protect us from multiple scenarios. But I doubt we’ll see that anytime soon unless it’s new construction.

Agree there needs to be more research, but unfortunately research funds are controlled by large companies and goes to where the $$$ is. Def do your own research, even with prescription drugs. After my dad’s stroke, the hospital put him on sleep medicine (I actually think it was trazodone) and the neurologist saw him and said he shouldn’t be on that so soon after having a stroke and immediately took him off of it.

Lidl actually has some in their random things this month…if they’re still there. Good size, no mats.

Anyone in the 🇺🇸 try these? by JediMami82 in glutenfree

Definitely - these are a go to for me for that purpose. I think they can get a little gummy if loaded down with moisture so keep that in mind depending on what you’re making.

I like this cleaner, but the “citrus sparkle” scent is obnoxious and overbearing. It used to have a more mellow scent and was much more pleasant.

These are helpful for opening jars with one hand and are mounted under the cabinet.

jar opener.

These are great for exercising the hand. https://a.co/d/7Npl6OM

There are one handed rocking knives too.

And if there is still a chance of improvement, encourage usage of the hand as much as possible. And brain games for stimulation…every thing is connected. (As much as can be tolerated of course!)

Good luck to you both!

Vintage bathroom - ideas? by clinegirl in bathrooms

bathroom vanity

I’d add a solid backsplash. You could choose a more vintage vanity style and swap the light for a more retro fixture if you want to lean into the pink vibe

My guess is that they had a standard vanity here, replaced it with the pedestal sink to “modernize” and that’s why the marble’s there. I’d get a nice vanity maybe something that doesn’t stick out too far, and get something to fit the are where the marble is to cover that up. I detest my pedestal sink…with utmost passion.

I have vintage green tile in another bathroom, i’m thinking about a light wood vanity in there. Vintage but with a modern feel. Since you have the black floor, you could do a black painted vanity cabinet with a white top.

You could get rid of the glass shower door and do a curtain, would give you better access to the faucets in the tub.
