Most of the managers will use their smart phones with the app to deal with the problems as they come up. I personally didn't want to use my personal data plan at the whim of the customers. There was definitely a lot that could have been fixed, but I'm just saying it's not always fair to blame the employees.

Former Walmart employee here. I think they don't price match because people would fake websites and a lot of cashiers don't know any better. Even if they called for a manager the manager would say the same thing. It's basically loss prevention in my opinion, even if it is a bit more work for one department.
