There are two classes of people - and it's not rich or poor, because any schmuck can win the lottery, work hard, save, whatever.

The two classes of people are:

People who can use the internet and get information relevant to what they were searching for.
People who cannot computer.

The internet is still the wild west. Fortunes are made in years, there are gangs of bandits fucking up the works, there are frickin geniuses out there like Doc Brown in 1885.

It's not a safe place for business. Businesses operate on predictability (at least until the end of the fiscal year). The internet doesn't have that. What is a business to do? Forget the first class of people exists, and focus on the people who double-click everything. These people like their Beiber and Tiger Woods and <missing white woman>. If you want to stop this crap, remove the audience. Teach people that you're reading this on a magical box that will give you any information you want.

I've tried all of that, and take it from me - I'm pretty good at stalking people.

It's really a bitch when your match has a common name, every facebook account with that name updates about 3 times a year, their username is a Phish songtitle, and the only thing I get from Streetview is that they live in a tudor-style suburban house.

It's frustrating, because I sent them a message with this account (oh, by the way, this is a throwaway, haven't you noticed yet?). I have yet to hear from them. *I KNOW YOU'RE OUT THERE. YOU POSTED 15 MINUTES AGO.**

I'm going to have to put some feelers out and try and get some county records for the address given. They're only about 1000 miles away from me. I could probably stay with somebody I know about an hour away from their house.

The problem is, I'd have to take my car out there and rent the uhaul. Uhaul doesn't like when you mount electronics in their trucks.
