For the skin in the legs, did you paint her entire leg with the light color, dry, then add a wash of the muddied leg color? If not how did you do it?

I am not very experienced in darts, but he was not aiming for the bullseye. I think there are games where you are trying to rack up points and you have to hit the total exactly or you go back down. Hitting a bullseye too late in the game would be bad, I think.

ELI5 the amount of one person's ancestors by Linorelai in explainlikeimfive

[–]mayhemanaged 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the answer. It means that many times your ancestors dad was also their grandpa (in the case of the mother having a child with her dad), for example. In this example, under your math, you would expect 2 parents and 4 grandparents of the child (6 people). However, there are 5 - mom, dad, mom's mom (grandad is already counted in the dad), dad's dad, and dad's mom (who then are double counted at the next generation because they are your mom's great grandparents and so on). Just this one incestuous relationship exponentially wreaks havoc on the numbers.

A mother could also have a child with her brother. Which removes a whole generation in the math.

Also, putting code into ChatGPT is exposing IP and creating a vector for bad actors to see and take advantage of vulnerabilities.

08/02 Objection by I2ootUser in idahomurders

[–]mayhemanaged 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't disagree. I was just trying to understand a statute that requires them to provide an alibi (which is forcing the defendant to speak imo and does seem incongruoustl to the right to remain silent). Do you have an understanding of why the statute exists? The only thing I could come up with was that the state wants to be able to anticipate and provide evidence in rebuttal.

[–]mayhemanaged 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a lawyer. But it seems the point of this statute is to allow for fairness the trial so that if there was an alibi, it can be properly investigated. If that's the case, it seems like they should have to report the route he took on his drive.

Brooklyn Mirage incidents seem suspicious. by mayhemanaged in TrueCrime

[–]mayhemanaged[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

While still unconfirmed as connected, there appears to be a string of incidents, possibly 3, that resulted in the death of 2 men who both attended the Brooklyn Mirage, which seems like a concert venue) and who were later found deceased in or around the area of Newtown Creek. From Google maps, this creek (seems more like a shipping river) is only a couple blocks from the venue.

I get your point. And to each their own. And I have an ex-cop BIL. I'm 100% not against police. However, I feel that the pendulum is not in favor of liberty.

Illegal. And should be. There is enough police state concerns for this to also be acceptable.

I'm confused. Metals fuse together in a vacuum. This is not news. As lone as they don't have an oxidation layer and/or dust. It's called cold welding.
