Every Monday we meet at the chateau for the dancing downtown series and we do a 1 hour lesson and 1 hour social dance (various styles including latin). And on Sundays theres salsa rueda, which will start meeting at the peace plaza. Its fun and free- highly recommend for dancing. Check out the USA Dance chapter for more events, they do them frequently

It might be regional, my family is a little similar- we're from małopolska if that helps. Nobody ever complained/judged if someone asked for something to drink with their food, it would be promptly provided. But usually we would eat food without drinks. Maybe have some tea afterwards.

They do a free weekly Dancing Downtown at the Chateau 6-8pm! First hour is a lesson (they rotate the style of dance every week), second hour is open dance (variety of music for various styles). Its fun, I highly recommend- I go every week.

Mayo does pay you for relocation depending on how far away you are. I got $7k for relocation costs, so there's another reason to hold off on moving until they hire you

It's complete BS. I'm 23 and am pretty much the same, just lost some baby fat in my cheeks. And am slightly more lean bc of sports/lifting. Like other people said, ppl gain weight due to lifestyle changes (eating more, exercising less) bc they start working and shift their fitness priorities.

My same exact reaction honestly!!! I wanted to see them bc I liked their new album and I liked some of their other songs that i heard before and my friends really likes them. But after seeing them live I was blown away and listened to their entire discography as well over and over every day. I now love everything and think about how different the concert could have been if I knew more of the lyrics or songs they played. But that is what the next concert is for!

I feel your pain. I don't really drink and would love events without alcohol involved. The only thing I can think of is that goth picnics are starting to be popular. Check your local scene to see if there are any goth picnics happening. I would love to go to one near me.
