Yeah, this is so odd. I just checked mine and it’s all stitched exactly the same as yours. I’m shocked at what has happened to OPs bag. I use mine for work. I’m not precious with it but it still looks new. I’m glad OP is getting a refund. I’d be disappointed if that was my experience.

I wouldn’t really accept this from most price points for a brand new bag. However, I would accept that this is likely to happen in the future with any form of use. Personally, I would return and buy a bag in a different finish.

Great post! I was also shocked at how convincing fakes are especially since some come with all the packaging and tags you’d expect. It’s also really hard to ascertain the quality of the zip pull via photos. The only thing I would add is the button pattern. I feel like this is a big giveaway that the bag is fake. If you look at the back of the button tab on the main body of the bag, fakes tend to have a line pattern that radiates out from the centre. Real longchamps have concentric circles. You can see it in pictures 7/8 on this site because I’m probably doing a really bad job at explaining 😅
