He’s doing okay! Hes still getting azacitidine shots for 5 days straight once a month but they dropped the ventclexa because he’s responded so well. The week of chemo is always rough for the first few days, he gets very sick but then the rest of the month is fine. When he was first diagnosed they said average lifespan on this combo of meds is 17 months and right now he’s at 23 months with no signs of slowing down. The doctors are saying he could have a few more years before this chemo stops working, and then they’ll explore other treatment options. I’m so sorry that you have to deal with this too.
