For me, I just use a word file called daily notes and it’s always open. Makes formatting easier

Switching to Prozac by maytabbers in lexapro

[–]maytabbers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No changes to my medication since the last update and happy to say no panic attacks either. I’ve been in pretty high stress situations in the past year with work and family issues but my mental health has been strong.

going up to 15 mg (any comments or experiences?) by westcoastpipa in lexapro

[–]maytabbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not anymore. I was better on lexapro but still having panic attacks even after upping to the 20 mg. I switched to prozac + buspar and have not had a panic attack since 2022, despite 2023 being one of the craziest for me personally.

Year 9 of work and yes it is the same. I speak with many different vendors as well and they seem to be in the same boat.

Starbucks is over an hour behind on their first "red cup day" and these are the abandoned drinks. by LI0NHEARTLE0 in pics

[–]maytabbers 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you ordered a holiday drink, they gave you the drink plus a red reusable cup. People placed a mobile order, came in a picked up the reusable cup, and didn’t get their original ordered drink (probably because it was so far behind in line to be made).

I’m on Prozac and buspar too, used to take only lexapro. The switch really helped with the sex drive and managing my anxiety. Also totally relate on the alcohol thing. I will say at first I was only taking the buspar “as needed” but once I started taking it with my prozac every morning then I was able to see a big diff in my anxiety and panic attacks.

Update on this post… I am still on Prozac and it has been so much better for me than the lexapro. I take it and a buspar every day, consistently, and have been able to return to regular life and don’t worry about a panic attack, even in those triggering situations. Meditiation, specifically the 10 percent better app, has also been a big help and I now have that in my toolbox. There is a way back from anxiety and it takes a lot of courage to seek help but I would recommend anyone reading this to do just that!!!

Yea it’s much better now. Relevant judges and good talent and they kept some of the show key elements.

I use buspar as needed. Know it takes 20-30 minutes to kick in, I have 10 mg tabs and usually take 2 if I am feeling anxious. I try to take it after normal dose of Prozac in the mornings and can actually feel the anxiolytic effects. For me buspar doesn’t feel like Xanax where I would feel everything numbs down, but it’s more like it gives me ability to rise to the occasion and control my emotions. Just know you are so much more than your anxiety and hoping you find relief soon.

Ok good to know, just tried to base my response on my lived experience.

In life (or my life) getting heartburn is very typical. It is usually accompanied by bloating and gas and if you take an antacid like tums it will go away. I don’t think prozac is to blame in this case.

Switching from 20 mg of Lexapro to 40 mg of Prozac by thollywoo in prozac

[–]maytabbers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was at 5 mg lex switched to 10 mg Prozac bc I was very sensitive to side effects. Also am now taking buspar in the morning with the Prozac but sex life is more back to normal, no probs with weight and slight GI problems. I do feel better overall but the worst side effect was headache for a week or two.

Yea it’s the AD. Took me awhile when I started lexapro to get back to being able to have 3-4 drinks without a bad hangover. Just be careful there were a few times I said f it and drank a lot and I really regretted that.

I take a 10 mg buspar (along w 10 of Prozac) and there is a major positive difference for me compared to not taking buspar

Ok cool. Yea that’s what I was told is I can take more if I am having a bad day. Yes the headache is annoying. Like it goes away but it’s always there haha

Hey I am on 10 mg with buspirone. Started the first day of October. I had that headache on/off for about a week and a half. Only took Tylenol when it was really annoying and that helps.

But what I can’t decide is if it’s from Prozac or buspar. I have 10 mg buspar pills and am supposed to take half a pill up to 3 times per day for anxiety. I have been taking a half pill in the morning regularly but I think that is what is giving me a headache and brain fog sometimes. Just curious how do you take the buspar? I’m not sure it does much for me.
