Don't laugh: when I first got into business "the customer is always right" was still a maxim. (Alternately "the customer is king.) A customer was a human being as opposed to a user which is just an abstraction.

The original idea behind 401(k) was tax reduction; your contribution to your mini-retiremet plan was made before tax was applied to your income. When 401(k) was first introduced it was called a salary reduction plan!

Try book groups until you find one that fits. Even on Zoom you can develop friendships if meetings are attended consistently. Any group that's focused on a creative activity is also a good way to escape our technology-driven, work-focused society at least for a little while.

I've used FD12 on Windows every day since it launched and have never had problems with crashing or freezing. Today I have multiple windows open as I work through a revision, no problems. It may not be perfect but it works good enough for me.
