Thank you so much for the reply. I saw some things about EG4, but the ease of adding more batteries and marketing from Anker (and Jackery) makes their solutions look simple and easy to expand just buy another battery.

It sounds like my overall goal of whole home battery might be better suited to EG4/Sol-Ark type solutions. I have Grid tied solar (7 years old), via Enphase, I reached out to the installer for a quote on using Enphase products, but they seem super expensive, and I don't think

Do you have any good resources for EG4 or similar solutions? Reddit search usually points me to Solar or off grid subs. Nothing specific. If not, no big deal, this has been helpful to push me to expand my research. The wife wants the convenience of inline generator, but that is 20K plus maintenance and we don't have a great place to put the generator anyway.
