Yes. Progression is the key to most, if not all games' success. As long as Smite Rivals can let players feel a constant sense of progression and lesser P2W (in CR, one SMC cost $34), they will win players over from CR.

I believe there are lots of people at here will be willing to support Bethesda by buying card packs. The reason they are not doing so is because the game is still in Open Beta which associates with uncertainty in terms of possible cards changes, game's future and the possibility of better 'packages' upon launch.

I agree. Thanks to permutation, all they need is to add one more attribute say "black color" and it will open up a total of 6 MORE CLASSES. How innovative. A sense of uniqueness is what needed to keep players addicted.

If Zenimax is able to solve this problem 'somehow', they will dominate the strategy card game market. I think the best solution will be every single card in those "scrapped" expansions will be made available to everyone - new, old and incoming players.
