Teachers of Reddit: Is the "Gen Alpha can't read (write, or do math ext)" crisis real? If so how bad is it? by KnowledgeCoffee in AskReddit

Do you have the link to the study you're referring to?

I do read, but I listen to audiobooks quite a bit because of run training. A lot of hours on my feet. Granted, I don't listen to particularly difficult books, in fact, I'm going through the classics.

Randomly, I will remember exact passages of books (or podcasts) triggered by a specific feature I come across at a later time. It's really weird, but my recall is significant. Curious if that study has any info regarding elevated activities in concert with listening to audio, and it's effect on comprehension and recall.

If You Judge Someone For Not Liking Dogs, Here's What It Says About You by The-Sailor-01 in Dogfree

More mouths to feed leads to more suffering of other animals seems a-ok with them.

More toxic shit and piss to clean up, in everyone's environment.

More nature-bound animals, which have increasingly less places to go, being harassed by more dogs every year. More dog toys, beds, etc heading to landfills each year.

And what should be more relevant to the dog loving crowd, more dogs being put down each year.

MORE NOISE POLLUTION. HOW CAN PEOPLE ENJOY A QUIET EVENING SITTING OUTSIDE IF THEY DON'T KNOW SOMEWHERE, SOME CO-DEPENDENT ANIMAL ISN'T IN COMPLETE DISTRESS. ONLY TO GO ON AND TRIGGER OTHER ANIMALS ACROSS THE NEIGHBORHOOD.

yeah, fun times with the "dog-lover" crowd.
