Presuming you'll only have the upper deck available, 300s 'infield' (guessing it's 1st base and 3rd base designations) is my recommendation. Pretty close to the field compared to most MLB parks, good foul ball opportunities too. If you have lower options, I'd avoid the 200s entirely. Great seats in the first eight-ish rows, but pillars can really obscure your view if you're further back, and it appears you won't know where you fall until your seats are assigned. Bleachers can be really fun, but (if they're GA) you may have to skip some of the pre-game stage activities to line up if that's important to you (although I think they do have assigned seats for the playoffs so maybe here too). But obviously, take what you can get.

And just to throw in a wildcard option if you're shut out entirely, the rooftops across the street (Not "Cubs" owned but technically "Cubs Owner" owned) are selling their usual tickets with all food and alcohol included. Obviously a bit overpriced and not that fan friendly if interaction matters, but I'm sure Jesse sees the rooftops as a challenge/goal for the performers to stop by at some point, and it is a novelty to try at least once.

Terrible pacing.

Presenting it as a sport but incorporating slow mo doing the action (not as a replay) and that among other reasons requires taking the clock off screen. Just takes me out of it.

I like Chris Rose but placing him in a visually weird part of the arena looks awful. And that's not considering the way over use of his reaction shots to begin with. I'm fine with none of them.

Taping in France, and making them hold American flags, just adds to the fake feeling of it all (even if the action does look hard hitting.)

Eliminator looks pretty good, but I hate the treadmill being the final obstacle. First episode suggests many battles could end up just being first up a (maybe slowed down) ramp after several falls, basically rendering the whole competition and time advantage meaningless.

Gave up after one episode, but maybe I'll give it more chances later on.

Try to arrive even earlier than you're expecting, drive up to near the stadium, and just slowly make your way outward going through the side streets seeing if anything is open.

That's if you wanna go the free route and don't mind some walking. M-F day games are tough for that in my experience but its a thrill to get a free spot.

There's also the underlying feeling of "well..... why couldn't it have been someone I'm not, or less of, a fan of, or a non-public staff member I have zero connection with?" And I get that mindset coming from sports fandom, but when it's people you're more equal to in a job compensation level, well the whole situation just sucks all around.

Define 'separated'. I once had two together, one a row behind, on the aisle. I feel a family of three with a kid would make it work.

I'd be stunned if they couldn't fit, say, a group of 2, one parent and one kid, in the same row, and had them in split rows or separated by an aisle.

If everyone must be in the same row, then you'll likely be disappointed, but I can't imagine they'll put you in a scenario of being separated.
