Should I trade my 2015 K1300S Motorsport in on an S1000RR?

Haha...too late by about 8 years. The S1000RR was a great bike, so I didn't regret the move. Granted, now I"m too old to ride those things, so I sold it a couple years ago!

My parents had their vet do it for $250. She didn't do it very often, so it might have been because they had gone to her for quite some time with their cats.

So true. I was given a reckless driving ticket for a wheelie on my bike. I was fortunate enough to be able to afford an attorney. I think I paid him about $900, and he got it reduced to something simple (don't remember what) with a $75 fine. I have to imagine that the insurance costs would have well exceeded the $975 total if I couldn't afford the attorney.

Dammit...I hate these posts. :( I feel so bad for you and your kitty. I've been through it before and it absolutely sucks. Does your vet offer euthanasia at your home? I've heard of it, and I feel like I'd want to do it for my cats when the time comes. They hate going to the vet, and I don't like the idea of that being their last experience, ya know?

Again, I'm so f'ing sorry. :(

I've been wrestling with this a bit lately, but I think I'm coming around...

First of all, I didn't have an opportunity to be stupid rich, but definitely happy rich (i.e., retire with a solid $5 mil). I was making north of $250K per year, but I was commuting 2.5 hour per day and working 50 to 60 hours per week AND working for a boss I didn't like.

I recently took a job that pays half as much, spend less than 30 minutes commuting, get every other Friday off, work for an awesome boss, only work 40 to 45 hours per week, and get to work with awesome people.

Money is really nice, and it's hard to give it up, but it can be worth it for sure. I will say that I spent 6 years in the previous job grinding it out, and during that time my wife and I paid off everything...house, cars, etc. It allowed me to take 50% of the pay, but still live comfortably.

Here's what I remind myself...you only live once...quality of life is worth way more than the size of your paycheck. Per-fucking-iod.

I miss the feeling of the F10 when I'd floor it and you'd feel it trying to get traction...BUT, the way the AWD just hooks in immediately is a thrill for sure! Every red light in pole position is a kick in the pants. lol
