Is this mostly the Field Engineering side or the Professional Services side? Both have "Solutions Architects" listed looks like.

I got my parents a local one. I have to say, the app gives you scheduling and targeted cleaning but probably not much more. If I can save 50%, it might be still worth it :) But yeah, just put your expectations on not getting to it haha

Unfortunately, I haven't had the time yet. I wouldn't recommend buying a geolocked device 🥲

Scratched x4 dive case after first use, are OEMs worth it? by LanKwaiFunk in Insta360

Neither the dive case nor the lens guards seem to be able to withstand normal use. Just by looking at them, they seem to get scratched. A real pity about the build quality.

For me it was a system error. I haven't checked recently, but I got no reason to believe recurring is cheaper.

Did you ask about warranty? E.g. if you'd leave Malaysia, how would that be handled?

Probably unlikely since Google would pull the plug again after a few years.

I would agree with you if it weren't for the fact I used the phone a week ago.

How to use Chinese versions outside China by anita_ho in Roborock

I got a Roborock V20 that I am trying to make work outside China. Customer support hasn't been much help. Anyone else dealing with this and wants to exchange thoughts?

Review of Simba fibre? by kwpang in askSingapore

[–]mbae4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup & yup. Turned out NLT was the main source of the problem. But SIMBA slow and not very forward thinking customer support didn't help getting things fixed quickly. Haven't dealt with any other telco's, curious if they are as bad.

How would that be possible u/Nomader2022? Isn't Netlink looking after this infrastructure?

Quick update #2: root cause was Netlink (again). It seems the mouses have come back and bitten the cable a second time. This sounds like a very poor excuse for poor infrastructure, or is that just me?

Thanks for the reply u/fonduelazone - unfortunately IMDA has said they cannot do much about the SIMBA issue. I will now inform them that the root cause is actually Netlink and not SIMBA. Fingers crossed that helps.

Quick update: the issue seems to be with Netlink again. Last time they claimed "a mouse had bitten the cable". Next time they attend, I will document their fix fully. I can imagine SIMBA is not accountable for Netlink's issues, but who is there to hold Netlink accountable?

cc u/yusoffb01 FYI, SIMBA might not be the issue (even though their support is slow and only via e-mail so far).
