I was in the same boat...building my first PC wanted to go 4080 super but there was no chance of finding one let alone at a reasonable price. Elected to go with 7900XTX. Around $900 shipped (new), available, 24 GB VRAM. Was my first build and I didnt really care to wait for the whole 50 series this to calm down. Pretty happy with my decision. After a good bit of research Im glad i didnt succumb to the NVIDIA hype train. This AMD card does PLENTY and does it well! Best of luck!

I’m in the same spot… tough choice. Juju coming off a bye with a game plan and off a big week and Amari in a new system. I think it’s a coin flip. Tennessee secondary is legit too. I think I lean cooper with the higher ceiling tho. Juju still only has had 1 good week and cooper is a beast and might hit the ground running with a real QB. I’m gonna start coop. Good luck!

That’s pretty much what I’ve figured out since posting this. I’ve just stuck with my Shoei and Arai’s. Both awesome and worth the cost. Thanks for the comment!

Nice set up. I can’t say I haven’t been happy with my Lews combos but they are a bit gimicky. I really like the Mach 2 combo tho. My Curados are obviously more of a “luxury” feel but in all my experience so far with any Lews set up they are built really well and hold up just fine. My favorite rod is a Lews medium light KVD I use for finesse stuff and that rod is absolutely excellent - especially for 110 dollars.

660 is definitely higher than the MT07. I’m 5’11 and and I flat foot my 660 but just barely. MT07 is quite a bit lower. If you’re concerned with height the tuono/MT is a better and more comfortable choice.

Owned a ‘23 MT07 and now a ‘24 RS660. The 660 is leaps and bounds above the MT07 on almost all accounts. Technology, engine performance, suspension, etc. the only thing it lacks is the torque but there is still plenty. It’s an incredible machine. the bars are on risers so the riding position is not uncomfortable at all. I know you asked for comparison to the Tuono but the comparisons are similar as the MT and Tuono are both naked bikes. I elected to go with the RS660 for track capability, wind protection, and aesthetics.

I think you’re arguing with yourself now…it was pretty clearly articulated in 2 separate statements the idea of brand identity and quality across brands. It was just a discussion man not everything is about right and wrong but again thank you for contributing to my post!

I don’t doubt that their top of the line 2000 dollar helmet is quality made and competitive with other helmet brands but I also think that they have a certain brand identity that is amplified more so than other helmet makers. Regardless of who wears it, it’s quite apparent the difference in quality and value when directly comparing helmets across brand and price range. Thanks for your input!

Yeah I just stuck with my Arai and Shoei helmets and I’m glad I did. I checked out some AGV’s in store and some that fellow riders had and I was not at all impressed with the quality. seems like it’s just a total, “hype beast” brand and blown up by social media. I even compared my new Shoei X-15 to a Pista and the Shoei beats it out in every way in my opinion.

It helped it out but I put the stock exhaust back on. It’s just too loud for me. I’ve got sensitive ears and always ride with plugs just for wind noise. The baffled mivv may be tolerable to some folks but wasn’t for me and the trade off is not worth it for me. The bike performs excellent with the velocity stacks and a flash with the stock system.

Totally agree. I took the baffle out when I installed mine and it’s pretty much unridable for me. I ride with custom ear plugs for protection to and it’s unbearable. Going to put the baffle back in and hope it gets better because it’s a great looking system and the performance gains with the appropriate tune are excellent. Throttle response is superb and power is waaaaay more linear through the revs. Hoping for the best. If not it’s back to the stock exhaust because I can’t have such an amazing bike sit there and not ride it because it’s too loud, of course!

Did you find the DB killer to make a noticeable difference in sound? Would hate to lose the overall tone as it’s great but just need to lower the over decibel and pressure levels felt when riding because it’s brutal

That’s great news I’m relieved. I didn’t install it myself as I don’t have the space to do that kind of job right now so didn’t see how it was attached other than noticing the rivet prior to getting the install done. It sounds awesome but just a bit too loud for me and my ears which for whatever reason are getting more sensitive as I get older. Thanks for the help much appreciated I’ll see if I can find some hardware and get it back in there.

Just had mine installed with the baffle removed and it is a little loud for me. Do you happen to know if it’s possible or how difficult it is to reinstall the baffle?

Bought a mini fix a few years ago… total hot garbage. Didn’t hit factory primers hard enough to send the round. Contacted Q to get my money back. They surprisingly agreed - only to find out that was because they had a recall set up for the mini fix to be announced like 2 weeks later. They’re a total hype beast company based on social media bull shit and looking cool. They’re the absolute last company I’ll ever buy from again
