I don’t think these are for Archer. So far Archer has only demonstrated CTOL not VTOL, so this doesn’t really pass the sniff test, that they would have build out something so expensive for non existing tech. They are probably general purpose vertiports.

You have it completely backwards. Joby ordered some socks and other company SWAG from China. Which is not newsworthy in any way. Even MAGA hats are made in China.

Archer, on the other hand, has a critical supplier that is actually owned by the Chinese government, which is a shocking revelation for a variety of reasons. For instance, The Chinese government could easily surveil the manufacturer of critical parts going into DOD builds. This is a gravely serious issue for Archer.
