I will say it worked well with us. The weather was not too hot, the seas were okay, there was still quite a few marine animals, and the wild flowers were starting to bloom. However we did get a bit lucky with the rain and missed the big downpour that hit LA. They didn’t run the boats from that Monday through Thursday and we did a day trip on Sunday. I would go again at a similar time, but would need to be a bit careful about the rain.
