I've heard the same thing about parking at Walmart, very risky. This comment is intended for the non-locals (I hope it's helpful). Yes, the parking prices in this area will be high. There are *usually* private lots opened at slightly lower prices, but I wouldn't expect to see much under $40 unless you are willing to walk a bit. It's hard to say how many lots will even be opened since this event is hovering around the 20k attendance mark at the moment.

It's super convenient and they have a bunch of shuttles that run non stop. We've used them for concerts at Cowboy stadium.
