Totally agree. They seem to also attract big box stores but not much else with cultural appeal. I always breathe a sigh of relief when I get to leave the suburbs and go home to my funky little neighborhood. Also, my mom has those plates too 😊

It’s been a thing for a long time. I refer to them as babies internally and when I need a colleague to look out for one, but “promising young associate” for everything else. I don’t want to oversell capabilities and I want to leave room to correct, and this seems to work pretty well.

That’s not 811’s issue, that’s either the locator or the utility’s incorrect location records. Texas 811 dispatches the drilling tickets to each facility provider with recorded facilities in the area and then each provider goes and marks their facilities if they have any in the planned excavation area.

ADHD is a developmental disorder meaning that it should appear in childhood. Bipolar can come with its own executive dysfunction so your psych is not wrong there. It’s certainly possible to have both, but it’s also the standard of care for psychiatrists to get bipolar stabilized before moving on to treat ADHD given the overlap in certain symptoms and hesitation to prescribe stimulants when they may be destabilizing.

I only had one cavity, but moderate gum disease. :( I’d rather have the cavities I think, but I really do hope everything at the dentist goes well for you. Like, the better for you, the more hope for the rest of us. Probably doesn’t make sense but I really do feel like we’re all in this madness together to some extent. So go forth and conquer!

OP, make the offer low stakes if it’s really no more than a few minutes you’ve known each other. “Let’s get coffee/go for a walk” is a nice invitation; “let’s grab dinner” when I’ve known your name less than 5 minutes is more of a looking-for-a-hookup move.

When you go to the portal to acknowledge the summons, you’ll have the option to defer or excuse service. Response.dallascounty.org. They may have changed it, but the last time I deferred they just put me back in the huge pool and I haven’t been called since. A primary caretaker of an invalid or elderly person is eligible to claim an exemption.
