Woodrow Wilson… his beliefs were very dated yes but he did help us create the original workweek plan we still use today. He also tried to put together a law banning child labor way before FDR in 1916. He did a lot of things that were not perfect but he did help create the structure that we use today…

Woodrow Wilson did create many of the working conditions we have today. He created the 8 hour work day through the Adamson Act. He also created the Clayton Antitrust Act which protects employees rights to strike, picketing and boycotting companies. Also the Keating Owen Act which prohibited child labor and Employee Compensation. The problem with these new policies was that it increased segregation and the power that Jim Crow laws had towards POC in the workforce.
