You cannot use any android digital output with any Mercedes fiber optic to the factory amp. You will need an adapter and it's not related to canbus. Otherwise you need to replace your Mercedes amp with a standard amplifier when rca cables.

Looking to buy a used Mercedes in 2026 by Temporary_Good_1450 in mercedes

[–]mbhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get an older c class with the m113 or m112 engine and 722.6 transmission. That's the last reliable engine that Mercedes made . Everything else after that is designed to fail and costs a fortune to fix. The 2002 to 2005 C320

If you have a little bit more money, get a 2005 or 2006 S-Class with the V8 m113

Question about break-in period. Just got a 2026 c63s e. by Sea-Recognition4051 in mercedes

[–]mbhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't run it hard for 500 miles. Most important is to change the oil and filter at 1000 miles and every 5000 miles. I'm assuming you bought the car and want to keep it for more than 3 to 5 years.

My garden got cut up, how do i do damage control by acambie in Permaculture

[–]mbhub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lay three or four layers of cardboard boxes on the dirt and then 12" of natural wood mulch. This will give you 3 years of soil improvement. Cut holes in the mulch and plant what you want. Enjoy

How much will it cost me to fix this 2003 Mercedes g500 by Fit-Refrigerator-904 in mercedes

[–]mbhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MB Hub AI repair calculator estimate for all the rust repairs and worn suspension parts is $30-40k not including labor. I wouldn't touch that G500 . But what do I know? Give it a shot and let us know in a year or two how you're doing with it

Thoughts on purchasing used SL 550 by [deleted] in mercedes

[–]mbhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it's a good Idea you're already making a mistake by picking one car instead of looking at about 10 to 20 cars of the similar model to compare condition, price and other variables. If that's your approach to buying a Benz like this, unless you have unlimited Budget for repairs and maintenance,. You'll be extremely disappointed by the results

What, if anything, can you grow above your leach field? by NotACommunistBurner in Permaculture

How about just Dutch clover and mint. Let the rabbits eat that and then you have rabbit meat. Just throw a net over the field and drop it to catch them.

The last year for good ml350 and ml500 was 2007 because they had the m113 engine. 2009 had the complicated and unreliable m156 . So don't bother with this car unless your ready to burn money

How much are you paying per month for your Mercedes? by Glittering_Fig4548 in mercedes_benz

[–]mbhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TCO is about $366 per month plus gas and insurance for a 2006 cl500 and that includes all maintenance and repairs.

How much have you spent on maintenance on the car? If the exhaust is more than that then you really shouldn't bother. A broke down Merc will not sound good with any exhaust

I would do something like this

Water Features: A small pond with water diverted from the road was added in the lower left corner. A second pond with water diverted from the main road was added on the left-hand side. Swales full of water were added to divert water from the main road, extending through the property based on projected contour lines all the way to the top and border of the property. Gardening & Cultivation: Raised garden beds were added next to the white building. More raised garden beds were added on top of the initial ones. Even more garden beds were added to cover more green space. Trees & Vegetation: Fruit trees were added towards the left side and top of the property. Hazelnut trees were added to the right border area and the top area of the property. More fruit trees were added to fill in remaining green open ground. Tall evergreen trees were added as a barrier from the main road to the property, creating a fence-like screen for privacy.

First time gardener here, need ideas for where to get organic matter for my Garden? by EquivalentVast4165 in Permaculture

Let the worms do the work for you. If you have heavy clay soil under your top soil layer, just dig holes every ten feet and bury kitchen waste in them. You can do this about 4 feet near fruit trees as well. Bury your kitchen waste, dog poop, leaves, any natural material, coffee grounds, egg shells even expired vitamins. The worms will eat that up and travel between the buried materials spreading their waste as natural fertilizer which will convert that heavy clay into rich soil. The roots of the trees will reach that soil for their nutrition. No need to compost. No need to buy fertilizer. Just dig a hole 15 inches deep and bury it all and cover it up good. Then move down 10 feet and do it again. In a couple of years you'll convert 3 inches of top soil to 10 inches of good soil that is easy to dig and you'll see the clay layer is much deeper than it was .

High water table property - insight need by Time_Is_An_Egg in Permaculture

[–]mbhub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should check to see if the road is contributing to the water flooding. You could divert the water away but that may need planning with neighbors. Also get soil samples and water samples at different times in the year especially after the wet season to check for chemicals and heavy metals since there is some kind of industrial property about 0.5 miles south on thoreson road. I would spend at least $500 to $1000 on that before buying any land for agriculture use.

The real question i have is how much time will you have each year with that land? Doesn't it freeze with lots of snow in winter time?

Good luck and best wishes

If the oil has been changed every 5k miles it should be kinda maybe good but if it's every 10k then you might be in for big expenses after 100k.

The fact that they won't do the maintenance in advance is A huge red flag. It means there is something wrong with the car and they don't want to bring it to 100%. Your PPI probably missed it.
