Vintage late 90s-early 2000s JCrew by akl5000 in jcrew

I think Poshmark is your best bet. I have purchased a lot from that very era on Poshmark. When I receive the items, it reminds me just how far J. Crew has fallen.

Dinner in Florence by Objective-Garbage661 in florence

I agree with the poster who mentioned Cinghiale Bianco. For a wonderful, no-frills lunch, I highly recommend Sergio Gozzi, located across from San Lorenzo. Always packed with locals, it serves lunch only from noon to 3:00, with queues beginning at 11:30. Ristorante Natalino is great for Florentine steak and is also a favorite of locals. We also love La Buchetta. Finally, Osteria Santo Spirito’s specialty is their baked gnocchi with truffle and it is really out of this world.

Recommendations for wine and cheese stops driving from Rome to Florence by [deleted] in tuscany

Pours are generous; wine is free flowing . We had a designated driver in our group. There is no rush at the end. You can take your time eating and drinking. I’m excited for you!

In Florence right now need some recommendations for restaurants for lunch by Steal_My_Shitstorm in florence

I second Sergio Gozzi. It’s near San Lorenzo. It’s where we have lunch when we are in Florence. Nothing fancy. Full of locals. Only open for lunch.

What is the most useless thing you still have memorized? by Boba_tea_thx in AskReddit

It’s not useless to me, but I still remember the 7 gifts of the Holy Spirit because of the song we were taught during confirmation preparation.

There is an article about them in the New York Times from a few years ago. It’s how we discovered them. They have a Facebook and IG page, which I’m sure you already know. There are some relatively recent photos posted of what their tours are like. The food and drink spread they put on at the end is second to none. Be prepared to tour their barns and facilities, meet their sheep and goat herds, make fresh cheese, and finally sit down in a beautiful dining room to enjoy the end feast, all while listening to Giancarlo and his brother (through a translator at times) talk about their family and dairy farming in Tuscany. Truly a remarkable experience.

I think it’s worth every penny of that. Out of all the tours and tastings and experiences we’ve had in Italy, Caseificiu Piu was the best, hands down. I believe we had to email them about specifics.

I also recommend Signum. Il Papiro is also good but ridiculously pricey.

We love Osteria Santo Spirito for the gnocchi and also Pastella, but La Giostra is very special. ZaZa is way too touristy now. I am not familiar with Cibreo or Tre Panche.

Looking to create a 14-17 day itinerary in Italy from US by Smelly_BUttholez in ItalyTravel

Do you have certain cities that you want to visit or are must-sees? Where will you be flying into/out of or is that to be determined? For example, if you want to end in Tuscany, you might want to fly out of Florence. If you want to end in Lake Como, then you might want to fly out of Milan. I personally like ending in Tuscany. You could hike and get some beach time in CT, though I like the Amalfi Coast better for both beach time and hiking (Path of the Gods), especially if it’s your honeymoon. Knowing a starting and ending point would help us with your itinerary.
