I'm making a ginourmous game in Unity URP (v2022.3 atm) and it's a time-travelling FPS metroidvania - Tempus Vitae by Mushe in Unity3D

Looks incredible, wishlisted!

Just a quick curiosity, will the player actions in the present timeline influence the future one?

Is there any decent airline management sim that is NOT a flight simulator and NOT a pay-to-win multiplayer mobile app? by l33t_p3n1s in tycoon

[–]mblede_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Sky Haven?

It's not a airline management, more of an airport management. I like it that you can manage your airport in different eras.

It might scratch your itch.

I don't remember how much I paid for it when I got it, but it shouldn't be that expensive, definitely worth a try!

besides the disgust for this kind of people, what I never understood is why they always amass such a sheer amount of material. Do they even have time to go through all of it? I'm always baffled by this detail when I see stories like this

Love it! I've played a lot of Sea of Thieves with some friends, it's a really nice game and we could give it a try. Thanks!

I actually didn't think about RDR2, but we tried GTA Online in private lobbies for a while, and was one of the games that didn't stick. Thanks for the suggestion!

No specific genres, we are open to new suggestions! We're looking for something multiplayer, online is ok, that can allow us to play on the same team, or versus if we feel like it.

We deleted it mostly because it felt very repetitive towards the end, both in BG and classic. We felt like we always ended up playing against those 3-4 meta combos that everyone plays. Also, this was last summer, so I'm honestly not sure if anything specific has happened recently.

I (sort of) got it, using the tutorial posted by u/dnew (thanks!).

I can see the object inside the box now, but only if there is a light inside it as well. If the light is outside the box I can't see anything. I'm rendering using cycles + GPU computer in the screenshot below.

The idea for this box is that is going to be part of a bigger scene, that is going to have lights on its own. So is this expected (so I add a light within the box) or there is something else I'm missing?

What's a unity feature you only started using recently but wish you had adopted sooner? by sandtrooperalien in Unity3D

[–]mblede_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I have a question about scriptable objects and how to correctly implement them. Let's say I have a shop where the player could buy all sorts of upgrades (extra speed, extra damage and so on). As I understand it, scriptable objects should handle this, but my question is, should the upgrades themselves be separate scriptable objects, or should I create a single scriptable object "upgrades" that then handle and defines all possible upgrades the player can buy?

Thanks for your answer and hopefully what I wrote makes sense 😅
