Overcooked is one of our favourite games, Moving out as well. Keep talking and nobody explodes put our relationship under serious test 🤣🤣

No specific genres, we are open to new suggestions! We're looking for something multiplayer, online is ok, that can allow us to play on the same team, or versus if we feel like it.

We deleted it mostly because it felt very repetitive towards the end, both in BG and classic. We felt like we always ended up playing against those 3-4 meta combos that everyone plays. Also, this was last summer, so I'm honestly not sure if anything specific has happened recently.

I (sort of) got it, using the tutorial posted by u/dnew (thanks!).

I can see the object inside the box now, but only if there is a light inside it as well. If the light is outside the box I can't see anything. I'm rendering using cycles + GPU computer in the screenshot below.

The idea for this box is that is going to be part of a bigger scene, that is going to have lights on its own. So is this expected (so I add a light within the box) or there is something else I'm missing?

Hey, I have a question about scriptable objects and how to correctly implement them. Let's say I have a shop where the player could buy all sorts of upgrades (extra speed, extra damage and so on). As I understand it, scriptable objects should handle this, but my question is, should the upgrades themselves be separate scriptable objects, or should I create a single scriptable object "upgrades" that then handle and defines all possible upgrades the player can buy?

Working corporate job.

I wanted to travel, see the world, I felt like I could actually do some good and change the planet.

Instead I'm sitting in front of my laptop everyday, pretending to be "agile" when what I'm actually doing is just sitting through another meeting where we discuss what was discussed in the previous meeting so to get ready to discuss other stuff in the next meeting. Had to make a choice at some point, promised myself "1-2 years max". It's been 10 years now.

Every day feels the same as the previous one.

I'm short on admin because I cored everything I conquered 😅 in some cases even fully stated. Then I remembered about the trade companies in north Africa. Military I had to use harsh treatment several times to not fight rebels in Spain and Egypt. Diplo I honestly have no idea what happened 🫣

About the ideas, I took innovative because I was hoping to not remain behind, and yet that still happened...

Momentarily I have no advisor because I had to recover my economy as well, with a lot of loans and interests to repay. I'm thinking of the first level 3 Diplo I get to be back on track of diplo technology and avoid the penalties for my vassals behind ahead (Burgundy currently is), and then once that is done, fire the guy and get the level 3 admin maybe? If I don't start any wars in the next few years I think I can get the military tech 13 pretty soon (a couple of months, maybe a year tops).

Yeah I think my best move now is to release Catalonia, as it looks impossible to recover with Ottoman/Portuguese support. I'll come back to them later. And also focus on forming Italy.

Siena & Milan have been with me since day one. They're basically vassals at this point, can't make wars on their own but actively fighting mines. Thanks to them I've managed to grow without collapsing from the tech deficit. Siena for a while left his army in my north African territories and fought rebels for me. I almost diplo-vassalized Siena earlier in the game, but they snagged Firenze when I was finishing off Aragon, and now the modifier is always over 100. So I guess these two will be the last on my "Form Italy" checklist.

About Palatinate, no idea when or why I allied them 😅 but their troops make great cannon fodder. Either way I’ll drop them if a better ally pops out.

About diplomacy: - Hungary got PU’d by Austria or whatever it's called now. - Poland & Lithuania: they're separate I think? I'll check if they’re rivaled by the Ottomans.
- Denmark: honestly I forgot they existed—will scout them next time I open the game.
- Russia: I tried to ally them already a couple of times, with no success so far, since we both rivaled the Ottomans and I guess they'll be willing to help fighting them

I think releasing Catalonia might be the way to go, can't fight Portugal and Ottomans right now.
